Nesting

LOVE that guy. And it's so true about the lazy part - I don't even comb my hair anymore because it takes so much effort! So my projects lately have been 'lazy' projects where I can sit on the couch and pretty much do nothing. But SERIOUSLY...I have not slowed down until now, so I think I'm entitled to chill for the next little while.

In my lazy, lounging state, I stitched up the softest, coziest little hats! {little scream} and despite what the
photographs might depict, these are so tiny! I made them 'newborn nugget' size and I'm dying from the cuteness. AND...I'm almost done with that cute blanket - excited to get that finished.

IF I can get motivated, today's nesting project is going to be some little booties from Heather Bailey's pattern. I want a HUNDRED of these things!!! I'm excited because I know EXACTLY what I want to do...now if only I could get some motivation ... wish me luck...

Love, Love, LOVE those little hats! So adorable! These are crocheted, right? Do you knit, too? I so need to learn one or the other...or both. ;) (BTW, I'm in MI, too. Livonia, here.)

aw - thanks, girls. Sarah, these are crochet and I'm dying to learn how to knit because I love the way knit looks. I have a tutorial a little ways back on how to start these little hats - grab someone you know who can crochet to walk you through it!

I love Gaffigan. In fact, my husband asked me this morning if I was breastfeeding in the one minute of sleep that I got (I was). Good luck!

Knitting is easy, but it takes me longer then crochet, so I do a mixture of both. Hey, have you seen Monkey Pants! I have a pattern and I am LOVING IT!!!

If you make them in fleece, you need to adjust the legs to be a bit bigger because it won't stretch too much.

those lil hats are super sweet. And they're a lot more than what I accomplish when I'm feeling "lazy."

Pretty please what is the name of the yarn you used for the hats and what is the pattern?
I am DYING to make a couple for my newborn baby daughter! I combed the Internet for an hour or two without luck--I must look in all the wrong places. . . .

I am interested to find out what kind of yarn you used too. That pink looks so soft and comfy.

Whew! Finally getting to answering some posts - sorry for the delay. I'm kinda running on fumes at the moment. The hat is just a smaller version of the 'nest blanket' I posted a while back. I've got step-by-step instructions in the tutorial. The yarn is from Jo-Ann's - the pink is that organic cotton stuff and the white is the organic bamboo stuff. I threw away the little labels from the yarn so I can't give you exact names, but I'm pretty sure the pink was from Bernat. Not sure, though!
