I know, I know...I'm sorry!!!

So there's nothing new and exciting - I'm so sorry for you bored Bloggers out there!!! However, I'm torn up every single day because there are SO many things that I have to get done - on top of babysitting a 2-year-old and his 3-month-old brother, and keeping up with my little guy!

Maybe I mentioned it way back during the Christmas holiday, but at the time, all I wanted to do was get the holiday over with and then do NOTHING but sit and read for days! Well that's what I've done and it's been fun! I started reading the Twilight books by Stephenie Meyer and I'm just beginning the 3rd book, so as you can tell, I've been highly preoccupied! I'm not utterly taken with these books, but it's been kind of fun to get into a story and follow it through for a while. Anybody else read the Twilight books? What did you think?!

I'll post something interesting soon!!!

The Twilight series is such a fun read... good break from reality for a while. I am glad you are reading them.

If I were to have another baby, NO not announcing, I would name him Edward!

HOLY MOLY! It's as if I'm the last girl in America to have read these books!!! I'm almost to the middle of the 3rd book - Bella is at the bonfire listening to the stories. I can tell something is building up...

Have you guys gone to the Stephenie Meyer website? She's got info about the MOVIE being made, too. She's got Edward and Bella cast, and is working on the rest. Kind of fascinating.

Ok, I hate to be the voice of descent here, but I have to say that I was a little disappointed with these books. Here's my list of reasons.
1. I think she pushed the envelope on the lust issue, while it's not in the traditional sense, it's still there....especially as an LDS author.
2. I think these books are dangerous for teenage girls because no relationship will ever be like that, and regardless of what's going on, it's not ok for a teenage girl to lie to her dad and share a bed with her boyfriend.

I think it all boils down to this, as an LDS author, I expect more. It's a fun story and I am a sucker for a book, so I will probably read the fourth one just to see how she ties it all up, but I wasn’t all that impressed.

Okay, Okay, now that I know what you have been doing, I can forgive you for not posting!!! ha ha ha

I LOVE the twilight series, my daughter had them reccomended to her last summer at a popular L.D.S. bookstore so I thought they would be innocent enough (she is only 11!!) but I thought just to be safe, I better read them. I love to know what she is putting in her head!!) I was a little freaked out at first and almost didn't let her finish #1, but then I realized it could really open the door to a lot of great discussions. Those books gave us an oppurtunity to talk about some things that are really hard and awkward for me to just bring up...if you know what I mean! Anyway, communication & honesty are GRAND with kids!!
I love these books and adore Stephenie Meyer for giving me such fun entertainment! I am thrilled for her success and can't wait for #4!!
HAPPY READING ABBY!!

I've read all 3 and was totally surprised that my good friend, Corinne, recommended a book about teenagers and vampires. I will admit, though, I definitely enjoyed them! And when the movie comes out I am totally going to go to it!
