Nature Walk & Cute Idea

So our lazy, carefree days of summer are finally over and just when I thought life would ease up a bit, it got even BUSIER!!! Hence the shortages of posting - I barely have time to groom myself lately and even that is minimal. (Sorry, honey, for the bad b.o. and fungus in my teeth...)

Here are some cute photos of a recent nature walk. I just didn't grow up in country like this, ladies, and it's absolutely breathtaking!!! I never get sick of the scenery during the warm summer months here. So when I'm whining and complaining about being frozen and sick of snow, I can look at photos like this to remind myself that it can't last forever and that the world is PROBABLY not coming to a frozen end.

AND... this is my newest inspiration. I have three pedestals, all the same size, and I want to make stuffed pumpkins for them - probably in harvest colors instead of Halloween. HOW adorable, eh?! I'll let you know how it goes.

Love the nature walk photos, my daughter and I went on one ourselves this afternoon, we also took some pictures. So fun isn't it....
We have totally been amazed by all the mushrooms, I never remember seeing so many before in my life as this summer, I guess because it has been more wet than usual.

Those are so cute. I LOVE pumpkins. Fall is my favorite time of year because I love the colors and the nice cool fresh air. Here is Arizona we kind of praise the cold. But then after Christmas I am always ready for spring colors and warmth.

I just love taking pictures while out on a nature walk or hike of the kids, or of the scenery. I enjoyed seeing yours. And the pumpkin idea sounds like lots of fun!

What fun! This moment between summer and fall is just about my favorite time for a nature walk...the seed pods, the fruiting trees. What a delight :)

I just posted some pix of the fabric pumpkins my friends and I made over the weekend. They're made out of elegant upholstery fabric. I also posted the site where we got the tutorial.
Good luck with yours. : )

I love reading your blog, and was wondering if I could "borrow" that picture of the berries. I love it!! It would be perfect to print and frame in one of my rooms, but I don't want to take it without asking. lish_20@hotmail.com
Thanks.
