How Do People Blog Everyday?!

Every day I check my Google Reader and every day there are blog entries from amazing women who seem to constantly be doing amazing things.  WHAT THE?!  How do they do this?!  I don't even have enough time in the day to get my dishes done, let alone some amazing project! (I did make my bed today and it looks heavenly...)  I've been wanting SO BADLY to put up a blog post, something cute, clever, and (of course) adorable - but NO.  Hey - I can't even get a chance to read "Mockingjay" {gasp} - I'm still in the first chapter and I've had the book for two months now!!!  ???  (It's a crime, I know...I feel so ashamed and trashy.)

HOWEVER....I know that my time will come to make something festive for the Holiday season and I'm so giddy to prepare for Christmas - I can't stand it!!!  {love the Holiday season!!!}  I did some Christmas shopping today...so much fun!  So with that in mind, I leave you with the following cartoon - huh-larious.

Don't worry, everyone feels like that. There is a time and season for everything, just not everything at the same time :)

LoL, too cute!

What?! How did you have time to go shopping today? Seriously, that's how I feel too. I think, where do these people get all this time. Especially when they blog about having jobs too. I just don't see how.

Let me be the first to wish you Happy Holidays!

Oh that is huh-larious! I've always loved that comic and the absurdity with which it mocks ordinary happenings!

Oh, man! I love that cartoon!

I have to admit that I stopped reading a lot of blogs for that very reason -- I was feeling inferior because I just couldn't keep up with the cuteness.

Nowadays, I click on your (and a few select crafty) blog(s) every few days, I read my friends' blogs, and I call it good. I feel a lot happier and surprisingly get more done. Lowering my expectations always seems to help.

Did I mention that I LOVE that comic? I've got to try that.

Srsly. It is very exhausting to try and live up to. Let's band together and revolt against posting everyday! LOL

Great post... I feel ya, I actually feel guilty when I don't post CRAZY, I know, and my post have not been very frequent lately, but I do read blogs everyday... and I am shocked you haven't finished Mockingjay... hahaha I didn't even know these books exsisted {that is a crime} so when my friend gave me Hunger Games to read I devoured it in a day then had to get Cathing Fire and next off to Borders for Mockingjay... I finished them all in one weeks time then felt overwhelmed... GREAT series, but deep!

Dear Abby,...ha,ha, I just couldn't resist...Love this post. I don't know what I would have done had blogging been around when I was raising my family! I blog my life on my private blog but if I had one that must include craftiness.. I'd be nuts! Remember Pres. Uchtdorf's talk "it's in the comparison...that pride sneaks in", something like that.

I'm checking in today because I'm making the Christmas Tree Advent...6 squares to go and I love it. Thank you. Bytheway...craft a little but enjoy the baby a lot...it's such a short time.

Oh - I agree with all of you! There's no way I'm going to walk away from my bundle of cuteness (Brooke) just to blog. It's just a fun outlet for when I have time to do projects. Thank goodness I don't care about being the bloggiest blogger because that really could get exhausting. Truthfully, I feel grateful to be in a place in life where I don't care about others' opinions of me. It's very freeing, you know? I just choose to be happy and do my best and the rest works itself out nicely!

Thanks for all the love! Yer the best!

At first I felt envious about the "famous" blogs and their ability to constantly post, have a huge following & tons of comments on everything, but then I realized the blog WAS their life and basically an unpaid full time job.

I'd rather keep blogging for fun & have time for the kids, which is why most of us SAHMs are supposed to be at home.

It's nice to hear others feel the same way! I've also found not looking at those blogs to compare to makes a big difference in how I proud I feel about what I do on my own.

Just abandon all household chores - that's my solution!! Although my messy house is starting to get out on my nerves and I think my daughter may have been wearing the same outfit for 4 days in a row!

I pre-schedule all of my post. I try to take a day during the week and get up 3 or 4 ready to go. Makes it easier. ;)

Props to you for being a good mommy, and just doing what can be done for the day! I say good mommy because you're even aware of the messes behind your back, which makes me think you've not given in to the chaos! I have such similar days, it's wild! And i love that you're enjoying your babe. Yay for the cute birdie tut. Yay for handmade baby proof ornaments.

Two words. Scheduled posts. I don't blog daily but I try to blog more than not during the week. When you see posts popping up at the same time every day, they were likely scheduled. I do not get up at 6AM to blog. I usually have some time on Sunday (though not this week or the next three- but usually my Sunday evenings are quiet) to write a few posts and schedule them to run during the week.
